A full nuclear medicine service now available at Westmount Square

Radimed is pleased to announce a major partnership with NUC MED, a specialized team with over 20 years of experience in nuclear medicine.
Through this collaboration, patients now have access to a complete range of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services, offered directly at Westmount Square.

Available services include:

  • PET/CT scans in oncology (PSMA) and neurology (amyloid plaques)
  • Bone, cardiac, renal, and other scintigraphy exams
  • The PLUVICTO™  theranostic treatment

All examinations are performed by the NUC MED team, recognized for its expertise, advanced technology, and patient-centered approach. These services are offered in a private clinic setting.

When might a doctor prescribe these tests?

Nuclear medicine exams are prescribed based on each patient’s clinical situation. A physician may request them in order to:

🔸 Understand how an organ is functioning

  • Evaluate the heart
  • Assess kidney function
  • Analyze thyroid activity
  • Observe bone or lung activity

🔸 Investigate or monitor a medical condition

  • Detect metabolic or inflammatory abnormalities
  • Better understand how a condition is progressing
  • Evaluate how well a treatment is working

🔸 Complete an oncology workup (when clinically indicated)

Certain exams, such as FDG PET/CT or PSMA PET/CT, may be used to:

  • identify areas of abnormal cellular activity
  • help assess the extent of cancer
  • evaluate a possible recurrence
  • analyze response to treatment

🔸 Consider a specialized radioactive treatment

The PLUVICTO™ treatment may be considered for patients with advanced prostate cancer when their treating physician determines that this therapy may be appropriate.
