Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
The next generation in High-Definition MR. Our 1.5T Signa HDxt starts with a foundation of high-performance components, whose integration enables superior imaging capabilities that aim to bring you the clearest, crispest images possible.
MRI extremity imaging
Unique in Quebec
The Optima MR430s is compact, powerful extremity MR scanner that delivers precise imaging of the arm (including elbow, wrist and hand) or the leg (including knee, ankle and foot). Its 1.5T magnet provides radiologists with the high-quality images they demand.
Because only the targeted anatomy needs to be in the scanner, patients may enjoy greater comfort.
Extremely comfortable, surprisingly clear.
With its innovative design, the Optima MR430s offers an improved MR experience for patients and a more efficient and simpler one for technologists—all with the consistency and clarity of a 1.5T system.
Ultrasound
General Imaging Ultrasound technology combining power and versatility that meets today’s various imaging challenges, including: abdominal, breast, vascular, cardiac, musculoskeletal (MSK), obstetrics/gynaecologic or very small anatomical structures.
Digital X-Ray
Our digital radiographic system is designed for advanced imaging; focussing on new automation, exams are completed in 70% to 80% less time compared to older film technology. This system allows excellent image quality with dose efficiency.
Mammography system
Our digital mammography system is an upgradeable platform designed to deliver clinical confidence and high-quality care.
This technology allows us to perform a wide variety of breast procedures using low-dose imaging.
CT Scan
STATE-OF-THE-ART SCANNER
Radimed Westmount Square has recently acquired a new top-of-the-line, high-performance 64-slice CT scan that improves diagnostic accuracy while simultaneously reducing radiation doses. It is equipped with specialized software for advanced imaging such as CT-Angiography and CT-Coronarography, in addition to Virtual Colonoscopy and Advanced Dental imaging. It also includes specialized technology to overcome the effects of metal artifacts, which are commonly problematic in patients who have metallic prostheses.
Bone Densitometry
The X-ray Bone Densitometer can diagnose your patient’s bone mineral density. The results of these tests provide you with specific information relating to fracture risk of the lumbar spine and the femoral neck. No injection is necessary, and the radiation exposure is less than 1/10 of a chest X-ray.
