It refers to a sustained elevation of blood pressure in the arteries. More targeted examinations, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/radimed.ca\/en\/services\/ultrasound\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">carotid ultrasound<\/a>, allow an analysis of blood flow in the neck arteries, while <a href=\"https:\/\/radimed.ca\/en\/services\/ultrasound\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Doppler ultrasound<\/a> of the renal arteries can help detect a narrowing (stenosis) that may influence blood pressure.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"647\" data-end=\"762\">These tests are not systematic.
